So here is my opinion self driving cars I find are really cool but at the same time really dangerous. The downfalls is that it can be really dangerous because if something goes wrong or anything there will be a lot of damage and an injury that is not good then it will happen to people. The benefits of having a self driving can is that you don't have to drive it will do all the work for you and then you can be hands free.

Deleteit's really dangerous to do self-driving cars because imagine that the car doesn't have controlled the car and the car might run into something. The benefits are that it's really cool. Also, the passenger might sue the company and it's not to look good on them. I will never take self-driving cars and my mom won't let me go in these cars like that.

DeleteI think that self driving cars are smart , I think it’s towards yourubers so they can record themselves in the car instead of setting up the camera. Also I guess it’s toward elderly people because even my grandma has a hard time using google maps so a car that latterly drives for you it’s good. I know way people think it’s bad but you can be in control as much as you want.
ReplyDeleteWell self driving cars are cool and all but it seems like it might not be the best. Machines are taking humans places and people need that money to survive. And there just coming in and stealing people's jobs. The benefits are well...it’s hard to say there's not much I can think of. But one thing is that we don't have to worry that the person might turn out to be evil and hold you captive. But that wouldn't even happen anyway. A downfall is that those people are losing their jobs. And one day are earth will be taken over by robots! But that probably won't happen, that's a extreme example. It might be cool but it doesn't seem like the best idea to me. There’s more downfalls about this but that’s my number one concern. That those people wont have jobs.

DeleteI think that self driving cars are going to be cool but not safe because a machine doesn't have the reaction time of a person. If they do make self driving cars we could be seeing lots more injuries, deaths etc. But if there is a way to drive it manually and also be able to have it self driving
ReplyDeleteI think self-driving cars can be cool and dangerous. It can be cool, because then you wouldn’t have to drive and you can relax in the car, and go anywhere you want. It can be dangerous, because you know how sometimes your computer makes a mistake? Well I think that something will happen to it’s programming and cause an accident, and not only will the car get ruined, but people would die. Another reason that self-driving cars can be dangerous is because if they make self-driving cars, your using technology, and one day technology will rule the world! Also because a self-driving car can be more expensive, and because people can lose their job if their a taxi driver, because why would people go in a car with a taxi driver when you can go in a car that drives automatically?

DeletePersonally, i think that self-driving cars are a smart idea, however there are downfalls too. Like, cars are machines, they could malfunction and it would be worse then a normal crash. Not to mention a machine can't have the human reacitions that we have because,for obvious reasons, on being ITS NOT A HUMAN and two being they are programmed to do one thing. But it would be good because in my opinion it would be ALOT more fun than going in a normal car

Then there could be bad injury or a person could even die. The benefit of a self-driving car is that the person driving don’t need to be concentrated and they can do something else.
ReplyDeleteThere are both good and bad things about self-driving cars, and these are my thoughts. First off i think if self driving cars are a great idea but if you were to not be looking and the car crashes into another one it will end very badly but also they can be a way of saving time and money, let's say that you are running late and you're not done your work you could work on it while your driving or you can save money by making it electric. In the end they're a win lose.

ReplyDeleteI feel like it is okay to have self driving cars for Uber because the world is changing and technology is advancing and I think it is a good move that they are doing this.I understand that some people would feel nervous about it but they shouldn’t because they are fully tested to make sure that the passengers are safe.
ReplyDeleteI think that having self-driving cars run by Uber is a horrible idea because when i was watching the news a couple of weeks ago it said that people are getting raped and kidnapped or worse from Uber drivers! The thing that’s wrong about that is the fact that first off it’s only started happening a lot since the new CEO of Uber took ownership of the company, second off for cars to be self-driving someone has to control them, but who can trust them? So you tell me will you ride in an unsafe car that at any moment can lose control on the highway or ride in a taxi that cost only a couple bucks more?

ReplyDeleteI don't think this is a good idea. When a car self drives you never know what can go wrong. Plus these new UBER cars will make people loose their jobs. If they don't need anyone to drive the car's, why would the wast money and pay for people to do it? Most importantly how is a car without a drier supposed to change the music station?
ReplyDeleteI think that self driving cars are really cool if they are done properly. What I mean by that is self driving cars must be done perfectly, or else the car might crash the car, start speeding, go on red lights, etc. However, These self driving cars will cause a lot of people to lose their jobs. I never really agreed with uber in the first place. First, they cause taxi drivers to lose their jobs, and now they're taking away jobs from their own workers.
ReplyDeleteTo be honest: I think is going to be a lot of news about this in the future, why, beacause: we’ll self driving cars can sometimes get out of control due to the way it’s made, and another reason is that it’s taking away a lot of jobs away: what I mean is that there will be less jobs for people that need them, I mean it is one of the most common ways to start off your very first job. But the benefits well, in my opinion: I don’t think there will be/are benefits for self driving cars.

Because it sounds super dangerous and if one little thing was incorrectly programmed the car could be crashing into hundreds of other cars causing huge accidents.I guess if they are done correctly it could be kinda cool but who is really that lazy they cant keep they're feet on the brake and hands on the wheel.I just do not really see the point of it.
