  1. Terry fox feels like an amazing man because he ran to raise money for people who have cancer and he ran on one leg that is amazing. Terry fox is wonderful for doing what he did to try to run all across the world. It is really important to continue rising money for the Terry Fox foundation because we are running not only him but for people who have cancer and we are running for what he did to help people like him who was injured or sick. Yes I feel I would be able to do what Terry did because if he can run on one leg to 5763 km then I could maybe do it two.

  3. To be honest, I would NOT be able to do what Terry Fox did for us. I’m not a fast runner but if I HAD to do it I would, for Terry Fox. Terry Fox raise over millions of dollars for kids and cancer research and the best part is that the cancer that he got can be cured, thanks to him.

  4. Terry Fox is amazing, every time someone says his name i can’t help but imagine him running with dramatique music in the back like in an old movie. Some people think that they don’t have to still keep raising money for the Terry Fox foundation and they think what’s the point. Well the fight against cancer is still going, and some people with cancer that can’t be cured might be this world's next best happening. But cancer got in the way of that so we need to do all we can to help these next great historical events. The impact Terry Fox had on me was amazing, opening my eyes up to things that I couldn't see before, until I heard about him. He means a lot to me and everyone, how could he not. Even tho i’m really not a runner I would run with him no mader how big Canada is.

  6. I think that Terry Fox isn’t really an “idle” to me but he did raise money for cancer and started the marathon of hope and the Terry Fox foundation which is a big thing.
It’s important to keep raising money for the T.F.F so we can find a way to stop cancer from killing and we’re just barely scratching the surface. Personally I think that I would not be able to do that because I’m don’t really have the patience for that kind of thing.

  7. There was an article about the worlds top ten runners. Terry was on that list. In his description box the only thing they wrote was RAN HALFWAY ACROSS CANADA ON ONE LEG FOR CANCER RESEARCH. I think that is all they needed to say. Albert Einstein had a learning disability. So did many of the GREATS. Except theirs challenged the mind. Terry's challenged his mind and body. He had a problem with cancer, so he did something about it. I hope that when we are older, we will all be as good a roll model for someone else as Terry is for us. Although Terry is no longer here physically his legacy will stay with us forever. There is no reason why we cant help carry on that legacy. Even if we raise a single cent... it could be the cent that found the cure to cancer. Terry fox is amazing and kind. Its our job to be just like him. Even after all this there is one question that i cant find the answer to...HOW IN THE WORLD DID HE RUN ACROSS HALF THE WORLDS SECOND BIGGEST COUNTRY!!!! I cant even do 2 whole foot ball field laps!!!

  8. To me as a person with some family members dieing of cancer i can relate to Terry's problem and we need to find a cure for cancer, Terry has brought so much more awareness to cancer and shown everyone how bad cancer can be. Terry is a role model for everyone and proves anything can be done no matter what.

  9. To me terry fox is one of my role models, and raising so much money seems impossible, but who did it? Terry did, so everyday knowing that terry ran across half of Canada for people with cancer warms my heart. Also some people don't even know who Terry fox is so im kinda like HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?? Everyone must know his name, and no one can live to be as amazing as he was. So all im saying is Way to go Terry!!c:

  10. Terry Fox is a hero to a lot of people. He raised over thousands of dollars to help for cancer research. I think it’s important to continue raising money like Terry fox did, because there are a lot of people who get cancer and,no one has found a cure for that yet. Some people don’t think that it’s important to raise money for cancer, but the truth is that it is important.Terry thinks of other people first. That’s why he ran across Canada, to help with cancer research. I don’t think I could have done what Terry did, because I I’m not very good at running, but If Terry was here I would run with him to help raise money for people that have cancer. Thanks to him , maybe one day a cure will be found.

  11. Terry Fox means a lot to me because the campaign that he started helped save my aunt and my dad and because he had zero likes, zero shares but millions of followers. Terry Fox had one dream and I was a world of hope. Its important to continue raising money because just think in the past 35 years we've raised millions of dollars and much more. My grandfather and my uncle died of cancer because they didn't have the money to help the kind of cancer that they had but if we keep collecting money hat issue will be soon solved. I think that at the age of nineteen and he only had one real leg he made a huge difference in the world we live in today.

  12. To me Terry Fox is a great person that had one dream and did everything he could to make it append. It still important that we continue raising money because some person still have cancer and don’t get true it because there is not enough money for cancer research and some person don’t think that it is important. I couldn’t do what Terry did because I don’t have the motivation that he had.

  13. Terry Fox is important to me because he raised a lot of money for the reasearch of cancer and at the assembly they said that 1 in 4 people are affected by cancer and terry fox ran a marathon everyday on one leg and that is very difficult. He raised around the world 750 million dollars for the cure and that takes courage to run across Canada seeking one dollar from everybody in Canada that is why he is important for me

  14. Terry Fox is important to me because he ran very far on only one leg because the other one was not real but he still did it he raised so much money for cancer and brought awareness to cancer and all he asked for was 1 dollar from each person in my opinion it takes courage to do something like that and that's why hes important to me

  15. Terry Fox is a hero to me because he wanted to give money to people to have cancer worst than him. It's important to still do the Terry Fox Foundation because we like to show the honour to Terry Fox we appreciate what he did for us. I can't able to do want Terry Fox did because i cant run and don't have the energy if I had I would do it what Terry Fox did.

  16. in my opinion what Terry Fox did is really incredible because he had cancer and ran to raise money for other people who also had cancer What Terry Fox means to me is actually hope he means hope to me because he had hope that he could enough money to find a cure for cancer its also really incredible how he thought of ever other person who had cancer instead of just staying home and maybe watching netflix as in example . And yes i still think we should run not just as a memory to Terry Fox but because there are still A LOT of people that have cancer. To be fully honest i dont really think i could do what Terry Fox did only because i dont have the energy to run EVERY day

  17. What I think about Terry Fox is that he is definetly an inspiring person to the world. He had cancer, so they had to remove his leg so the infection won't spread. As many others, they would stop and take a break. What Terry Fox did, he continued fundraising for other people with cancer. He is truly inspiring. We should keep the Terry Fox foundation going so we won't forget him and what he has done for the world.

  19. I think we should continue to raise money for the terry fox foundation because people die from it and I have many friends who their family members died from cancer. I think that we should do that because cancer is still not cured yet so I think we should fundraise money for cancer for ever.to me he is an inspiring person and I want to raise lots of money or donate money to the terry fox foundation.

  20. Terry fox means alot to me, my dad had cancer when I was 2 years old. It wasn't the same as Terry, but Terry donated money to cancer research so maybe some of it could have been donated to the cancer my dad had. I can’t imagine if i lost my dad at a young age and for some kids that's a reality. I think it's important to donate so they eliminate it as soon as possible. Also one of my mom’s best friend had cancer, i felt really bad for the kids because they were older so they understand. I personally would not be able to do what he did. I don’t have the stamina or the patience. I can barely get up in the morning so i can't imagine doing a marathon every single day. But all in all i think it's important because even donating one dollar could be that one dollar that they figured a cure.

  21. Terry Fox for me simbolises a fighter because he had his leg amputated and still ran over 57 hundred kilometers. It's important to raise money for the Terry Fox foundation because some people might be going through what Terry did and if we raise money it could be cured. And finally I definetly wouldn't be able to do what Terry did.

  22. terry fox means a lot to Canadians because of him we have a event to donate at least 1 dollar every canadian. It is important to continue donating to help cure cancer. Hope forly we with have a cure for cancer.

  23. Terry Fox was without a doubt, one of the most important Canadians, if not, one of the most important people of all time. He was and still is a big inspiration to millions of people. Terry Fox means bravery to me, because even though his leg got amputated, he still decided to run across Canada, and deal with all the pain from both his cancer, and the constant running. It is very important to continue raising money for the Terry Fox foundation because cancer is an extremely deadly and serious disease, and we have to raise money for a cure, so people don't have to suffer from it anymore. I would never be able to do what Terry did, because even on two legs, I can barely run a minute.
